The Kollmorgen AKM42E-BKMN2-00 synchronous servomotor cannot be used without a SERVOSTAR servo amplifier. This motor related electrical installation involves establishing a proper earthing connection. The product must be used only by people with professional knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering. This device is an important part of the drive system it is used in with the servo amplifier. The unit has a very hot surface at the time of operation. Its fitted key has to be removed from the shaft before allowing it to run independently. This motor cannot be used in environments with caustic and/or electrically conducting acids and bases. The product assembly and setup are allowed only after reading the associated documentation. This device can be commissioned and operated only in electrical machinery that is intended for industrial use. The unit transportation is allowed only at a temperature of -25 ?C to 70 ?C. Its warranty is invalidated if it is opened by the user. This product should be handled such that its insulation clearances and components do not get altered or bent. The device should have unhindered ventilation to prevent overheating. This unit has no integrated fan for the cooling action. It must be made sure that no liquid enters the bearings of the motor with IM V3 mounting. This servomotor can be assembled as wired only in a switch cabinet that has been turned off. The product connection is to be done using the manufacturer's UL-Listed cables that have a lifetime of 1 million bending cycles. This device fails to rotate if the associated servo amplifier is not enabled.
