Product Description

The AKM42E-ANCNR synchronous servomotor is designed for drives for machine tools, industrial robots, textile and packing machinery, and similar equipment with high requirements for dynamics. The user should operate the motor only under ambient conditions. The unit should never be directly connected to the mains supply. The motor must be packed using a cardboard packing with Instapak® foam cushion and it should be stored only in the original recyclable packaging of the manufacturer. The maximum bus voltage rating of the servomotor is 640 VDC. Its flange size is 84 mm and the rotor length is 2. The unit features E winding type and comes with a smooth shaft. The peak current of the motor is 11.0 A and the peak torque is 11.5 Nm. There is an in-built resolver in the motor that serves as the standard feedback element. The servo amplifier evaluates the position of the resolver and supplies sinusoidal currents to the motor. The feedback systems offered alternatively tend to change the motor length and can’t be retrofitted. The AKM servomotor housing should be safely earthed to the protective earth busbar in the switch cabinet. Without a low-resistance earth connection, it is impossible to ensure electrical safety. During the operation of the servomotor, connectors must never be unplugged. If they’re unplugged, there is a danger of severe injury, extensive material damage, or even death. The unit must be checked for bearing noise once every 2500 operating hours. If there is any noise during operation, the operation of the device should be stopped, and the bearing should be replaced. Opening the motor for any purpose voids the warranty. If the housing is dirty, it can be cleaned using isopropanol or a similar chemical. Immersing or spraying must be avoided.
