Product Description
The AKM41H-AND2GF00 synchronous servomotor provided by Kollmorgen must be operated only after ensuring that there is sufficient heat transfer in its flange and the surroundings. This product comes with five pole pairs. The device should comply with the permitted axial and radial forces. This unit may trigger electric arcs if its electrical connections are undone when the motor is energized. Its capacitors can have a dangerous voltage produced from residual charge for a maximum of 10 minutes after the power supply is disconnected. This motor must be associated with the EMC shielding and earthing given in the instruction manual of the associated servo amplifier.
The product should have an earthing connection on its casing as well as the mounting plate. This device related motor cable has a capacitance of less than 150 pF/m. The unit produces EMC interference that has a negative impact on the system functionality with incorrectly installed shielding leads. Its maximum cable length is based on the servo amplifier used. This motor poses a danger of light burns when its hot surface is touched when it is in use. The device can be touched only after cooling it to a temperature of below 40 °C. This unit setup process involves ensuring that appropriate measures have been taken to prevent accidental contact with moving and live parts.
The servomotor may have an abnormally high temperature if its thermosensor has switched or there is a broken or loose cable. It has a peak current rating that is much more than the rated current based on the winding. This product has a very fast temperature rise when it is loaded with the peak current. The device installation should be done in a site free of aggressive and conductive material. This unit may portray a very high radial load on its shaft if toothed belts are used. Its power and/or control leads may still be in the live state for a brief period of turning off the power supply.
