The AKM41E-EKC2C-00 is a synchronous servo motor that is ideal for producing high peak torque over the entirety of its speed range. The motor’s top speed is 6000 rpm. At this speed, the motor produces a 6.28 Nm peak torque. The motor has a modern closed-loop feedback system that is highly sensitive to changes in speed, torque and position values. This is due to the SERVOSTAR servo amplifier and the inbuilt resolver that comes with this model. During standstill mode, the motor’s shaft can take a 2.02 Nm torque. The standstill current for the motor is 2.85 A. When the mains voltage is 230 V, the AKM41E-EKC2C-00 produces a 1.82 Nm torque and 0.57 kW power.
The AKM41E-EKC2C-00 is designed in accordance with the IP65 international protection standards. The IP 67 degree of protection can also be achieved with a radial shaft-sealing ring. The sealing ring protects against oil mist and oil spray. The motor’s shaft is balanced with a short half keyway. The motor has an extended service life because its bearings are lubricated from grease and have a 20,000 hours service life. An electrically isolated PTC is used as a protective device against overheating. The motor’s performance is uncompromised in up to 95% relative humidity.
