The AKM33C-ACCN2-00 is manufactured by Kollmorgen Company under the AKM series. It is designed for drive in industrial machine tools, robots, and textile, among others. Like other AKM motors, it is designed to be driven by SERVOSTAR servo amplifiers making it ideal for positioning tasks in industrial settings. It has permanent magnets in the rotor which have rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnetic materials that allow them to be driven dynamically by the servo amplifier. The servo amplifier enables electrical commutation and evaluates the position of the resolver and supplies sinusoidal currents to the motor.

The AKM33C-ACCN2-00 comes with a flange size of 70mm, C winding type, IEC flange, and shaft with a keyway. A Comcoder with 2048 PPR feedback and a 0.5M cable with 1P 65 connector and angular connectors are crucial features of the motor. Its technical data include a rated power of 0.65kW, maximum mains voltage of 480 VAC, and a rated speed and torque of 2500min-1 and 2.50Nm respectively. Some of its mechanical data include a standard weight of 2.23kg, 8 poles, 0.02Nm static friction torque, and 0.85J rotor moment of inertia.
