Product Description
The AKM32D-ACCNC-00 synchronous servomotor from Kollmorgen must be used along with a SERVOSTAR digital servoamplifier from the manufacturer. The AKM series motor acts as a precision equipment and is used for positioning tasks in transfer lines, machine tools and industrial robots where high stability and dynamics are required. The motor windings come integrated with thermal contact. The device can withstand relative humidity in the range of 5% to 95% without condensation and it has a climatic category of 2K3 according to EN 50178 specifications during transport. To avoid burns and other injuries, the device must be cooled after an operation before touching it. The servo motorcomes with a one-year warranty period.
It comes fitted with a nameplate that highlights various technical details and a smart feedback device. The motor is integrated with a 24VDC spring-applied brake. The rotor gets blocked when this brake is de-energized. The device comes with eight poles. The motor must make use of frictionally-locking and backlash-free couplings or collets whenever possible. If they are not correctly aligned, there will be severe vibrations that can damage the bearings. The electrical connections of the device must not be undone when it is in the energized state. The control and power cables must be kept at a distance of at least 20cm from each other. The synchronous servo motor can be shipped to any address worldwide through our trusted global delivery partners.
The motor has a PUR sheathing and a PETP core insulation. The UL Listed cables are ideal for trailing and have a life span of 1 million bending cycles. They operate ina temperature range of -30°C and +80°C. The device has a winding resistance of 10.3 Ohms and a winding inductance of 20.1mH. The motor may not rotate if the servoamplifier has not been enabled or the motor phases are connected in the wrong sequence.
