The AKM32D-ACCN2-01 is one of the several AKM series of synchronous servomotors from Kollmorgen. The motor has a winding type of D, a rotor length of 2 and a flange size of 3. The device is integrated with a resolver and a spring-applied holding brake. The motor connectors must not be unplugged during operation to avoid extensive material damage, severe injury or even death. The device must not be connected to the power supply directly. The DC motor does not feature brushes and commutation is performed electronically. The unit complies with EC Directive 2004/108/EC and EC Directive 2006/95/EC standards. The device is available with a one-year warranty period.
The servomotor must be stored at a temperature between25and 55°C. The ball bearings of the motor have a lifespan of 20,000 operating hours. They must be checked for any abnormal noises after every 2,500 hours of operation or each year, whichever comes first. The flange is designed as per IEC standards. The device makes use of a comcoder with 2048 PPR for feedback. The stator is equipped with a three-phase winding that is powered by a SERVOSTAR digital servoamplifier. The unit does not feature a holding brake. The keyway shaft comes fitted with a shaft seal.
The motor has a rated speed of 1,000min-1, a rated current of 2Nm and a rated power of 0.21kW at 115V. The device must be protected from unacceptable stress during assembly and installation. The locking thread that comes with the unit must be used to tighten the pulley or gear wheels and couplings as well as the warm-up drive components. The servomotor must have unhindered ventilation at the place where it is installed. The motor shaft must not be subject to axial load as far as possible for the longevity of the motor.
