Product Description
The AKM32C-ACC2C-00 model was designed for applications requiring high torque and has a moment of inertia of 0.59 kgcm2. The motor has been designed to operate within a temperature range of +5 to +40 degree centigrade.
The AKM32C synchronous motor is equipped with a 24 V holding brake with a holding torque of 2.5 Nm. The holding brake has a weight of 0.35 kg and an electrical power of 10.1 W. The holding brake is designed as a standstill brake and is not suited for repeated operational braking. If the brake is released then the rotor can be moved without a remanent torque. Despite its small size, the motor generates a peak torque of 6.92 Nm at a peak current of 5.7 A. The motor is available in a variety of settings, including a Smart Feedback Device. This motor produces a rated torque of 1.86 Nm while revolving at a maximum speed of 3000 revolutions per minute. Additionally, the AKM32C synchronous motor has an internal sensor that monitors the motor's temperature and protects it from overheating, as well as a keyway output shaft for smooth torque transmission. The motor is fitted with an electrically isolated PTC. The switching point is at 155?C. The thermostat does not provide any protection against short, heavy overloading.
The model AKM32C-ACC2C-00 has a thermal time constant of 17 minutes and a torque constant of 1.4 Nm/A. This motor weighs 2.3 kg and has a winding inductance of 46.5 mH, making it suitable for installation in tight locations. The three-phase servomotor is designed to operate with SERVOSTAR servo amplifiers. Together, both units form a closed speed or torque control loop. Wake Industrial sells this motor (AKM32C-ACC2C-00) and includes a one-year replacement warranty.
