The AKM31E-ANCNEM-02 is a motor that is designed to drive machine tools, industrial motors, packaging, and textile machinery, as well as other equipment that need high dynamic requirements and stability. Moreover, this motor should only be driven by servo amplifiers from the SERVOSTAR series under torque or speed control. Typically, this motor is installed as a component in a machine where they can consequently play a crucial role in the operation of the electrical apparatus. Additionally, this motor should never be directly connected to the mains supply, and thermal contact incorporated into the motor windings needs always to be evaluated and observed.
Integrated into these servomotors are permanent magnets located in the rotor. It also features rare earth neodymium-iron-boron magnetic material that plays an integral role in ensuring these motors operate in an extremely dynamic manner. Furthermore, it comes with a three-phase winding that is propelled by a servo amplifier included in the stator. Nevertheless, this motor has no brushes as all communication is carried out by a servo amplifier electronically. The winding temperatures are monitored using temperature sensors located in the stator windings, and signaling is done through an electrically isolated thermistor.
The AKM31E-ANCNEM-02 also has a pre-installed resolver to act as a standard feedback element. Integrated into this motor are servo amplifiers that deliver sinusoidal currents to the motor and analyze the resolver position. The alternative feedback system cannot be retrofitted and causes a change in the motor length. Additionally, this motor can either come fitted with or without an in-built holding brake and retrofitting this brake is not possible.
