Kollmorgen produces the AKM24E-ENBNC-00 servomotor. It comes with a smart feedback device, smooth shaft, flange size 58mm, and an E winding type. Its connections and leads data includes a power connection of 4 poles 0.5m round cables, 12 poles, round, on cable, 0.5m resolver connection and 4 x 2 x 0.25mm2 shielded resolver cable. The motor should be installed and commissioned by a specialist in drive technology or electrical engineering. This AKM servomotor allows for options such as holding brake, Comcoder, keyway, and EnDat, among others. When it is operated in conjunction with a servoamplifier, they form a torque control loop or closed speed.
The AKM24E-ENBNC-00 can be mounted using three orientations. Shaft end side A, shaft end upwards, and shaft end downwards. Shaft end side A is the recommended orientation. When shaft end upwards (IM V3) is used, avoid letting fluid settle around the shaft end since it can penetrate leading to motor damage. It has an IP65 class protection which means it is protected from extrinsic objects and fluids. The AKM24E-ENBNC-00 comes with class F insulation material and it’s engineered to vibration class N according to DIN ISO 2373.
