Kollmorgen produces the AKM23C-ENBNC-00 synchronous servomotor which is used with a servo amplifier for positioning tasks in industrial robots and other applications. Like other servomotors, the AKM23C-ENBNC-00 is precision equipment making it delicate. The flange and shaft are extremely susceptible to damage. The operator should avoid brute force. Use couplings that are frictionally-locking and devoid of backlash. The axial load should not be applied to the motor since it significantly shortens the lifespan of the motor.
