Product Description
The AKM21E-BNMN1-00 is a quality synchronous servomotor found in the AKM series. It is manufactured by Kollmorgen. It has a very high degree of precision. It is a three phase servomotor which operation depends fully on servostar servo-amplifiers. It is properly shielded and connected to 12 round poles. It has a rated speed of 7000rpm and the rated torque of 0.41Nm at 115V. The AKM21E-BNMN1-00 operates at an over-temperature winding of 100K and 40oc ambient temperature. Its brake can be powered with 8.4W of energy with a typical backlash of 0.46. The backlash represents the tolerance factor and it was designed with this particular AKM series by the manufacturer. It determines the rate at which the output shaft can rotate with moving input shaft.
The motors of AKM21E-BNMN1-00 have class N type of vibration in accordance to DIN ISO 2373. To avoid hazard, ensure that the control cables are separated at least 20cm from the power. The capacity of its motor lead and resolver lead are <150pF/m and >120pF/m respectively. Its motor lead’s phase can be identified using an oscilloscope. It has a peak current of 12.4A and a peak torque of 1.49Nm. The peak current is generated with the shaft of the servomotor which makes a small movement. The AKM21E-BNMN1-00 operates at a nominal voltage of 230V and a rated power of 0.32kW. The servomotor’s shaft doesn’t support axial loads to avoid damages. It has brake system which operates with 10% allowance at 24V.
The motors of AKM21E-BNMN1-00 is shielded on all sides and connected to the shaft. The motors are mounted on the shaft in 3 different orientations i.e upwards, downwards and sideways. Please note that the connectors of AKM21E-BNMN1-00 shouldn’t be unplugged during operation to avoid extensive damages.
