The AKM21C-ANC22-00 is a motor within a series of synchronous servomotors manufactured by Kollmorgen. It is designed exclusively to drive dynamic equipments such as industrial robots, packaging machinery, machine tools and textile machinery. It has a temperature sensor which monitors the level of the winding temperature on a regular basis. It has an electrically isolated transmitter with rating ≤550Ω / ≥1330Ω. The function of the electrically isolated transmitter is to signal temperature levels at every given point in time.
The AKM21C-ANC22-00 has an inbuilt durable revolver to serve as its standard feedback element. The revolver is perfectly connected to 12 poles in an angular and round pattern. It operates at an ambient temperature of 5oc to 40oc and a permissible relative humidity of 95% with no condensation. It has a basic style of IMB5 which determines its permissible mounting positions in accordance to DIN42950. The motors of AKM21C-ANC22-00 has a spring applied brake of 24V DC. However, it should be noted that when the energy in the brake is expended, the rotors stop functioning. Its brake also increases the motor’s length during operation. The AKM21C-ANC22-00 is wired in a pattern that allows the control cables to be separated from the power cables.
The AKM21C-ANC22-00 properly packaged with strong cardboard packing that protects it from external damages. The interior of the packing has Instapak foam cushion to shield the delicate parts from breakage. IT contains an internal core insulation which is composed of polyesteraphtalate (PETP) and polyurethane (PUR) shealth. It has V3 mounting style which shields the bearings from moisture. The holding torque for AKM21C-ANC22-00 at 120oc is 1.42Nm which measures the force required to start a static motor shaft. It also has a typical backlash of 0.46.
