The Kollmorgen AKD2G-SPE-7V12S-A100-0000-A servo drive is used for driving synchronous servomotors with closed loop control of speed, torque and/or position. This product comes with an inbuilt fan for ventilation. The device can be used only in electrical plants or machines intended for industrial use. This unit can be associated with a three-phase industrial power supply network or a DC supply. It must be wired only with copper conductors featuring cross-sections in accordance with IEC 60204 standards. The drive is not to be used in potentially explosive areas or environments with electrically conductive and/or corrosive acids, dust, vapors, oils or alkaline solutions in the surroundings. This product has a leakage current of more than 3.5 mA. This device supports the Stop, Emergency Off and Emergency Stop control functions defined in accordance with IEC 60204 standards. The unit can operate at a temperature ranging from 0 °C to 40 °C if the internal regen resistor is used and 0 °C to 50 °C when the internal regen resistor is not in use. Its control cabinet must have a size of at least 406 x 406 x 254 mm (W x H x D) and a protection rating of IP 54 or higher. This servo drive adheres to 3K3 environmental class according to IEC 61800-2 specifications with normal operation. The product has a maximum voltage rise speed of 7.0 kV/μs. This device also features a rated DC bus link voltage of 620 VDC. The unit can be operated with multiple other drives of the same series from a common DC bus link using the inbuilt regenerative circuit without implementing any additional measures. Its LCD display portrays a help screen when the B2 push-button is pressed for a brief period.
