Product Description
The AKD-T00606-NBAN-0000 is a highly advanced drive controller designed by Kollmorgen to improve operational efficiency of industrial applications by accurately controlling the speed, position, and output torque of industrial servo motors. This controller meets international quality and safety standards, before delivery it is tested and certified to meet these standards. The AKD-T00606-NBAN-0000 controller is intended to be built into electrical plants and can only be operated as integral components of the plants of machines. The enclosure of this controller provides optimum protection against large solid materials, however to ensure optimum protection operators are still recommended to install the controller in an additional cabinet that can provide protection according to the IP54 protection class.
The AKD-T00606-NBAN-0000 controller can be connected to a 1 phase of 3 phase industrial supply networks that can provide a supply voltage of 120 V and 240 Volts. Connection to voltage types of other supply network is possible, however this will require an additional isolating transformer to protect the controller. The AKD-T00606-NBAN-0000 has not been evaluated for group installation by Kollmorgen, group installations must be reviewed and evaluated by the user for branch circuit protection, wire size, wire voltage rating, fuse protection and system dielectric requirements.
The AKD-T00606-NBAN-0000 controller requires an input current of 9.9 amperes when it is connected to the one-phase supply network, however when connected to the three-phase supply network, the input current used by the controller is about 4.6 Amperes. The maximum inrush current of this controller is also about 10 amperes. The AKD-T00606-NBAN-0000 controller controls its ambient temperature through forced ventilation and natural convection. It features an internal air blower that carries out this temperature regulation process.
