The AKD-P02407-NCEC-0111 Ethernet supporting servo drive offered by Kollmorgen has a compact design and is associated with a high level of robustness. This product has an IP address that can be set as a DHCP IP associated with an address from the DHCP server of the network. The device comprises an EtherCAT connectivity option and works like a slave in the RJ-45 network when the interface connection is established using the RJ-45 X5 and X6 connectors. The device has two built-in LEDs in each of these ports to indicate the communication status. This unit comprises two rotary switches at the top of its front panel. The drive related online parameters can be altered when the drive is in running state only by professionals with the required interface. It can be connected only to a PC that at least a Pentium II processor, a color Windows compatible adapter, a DVD drive, a hard disk with minimum 20 MB space and a free Ethernet interface, hub port or switch port. This product incorporates both hardware as well as software setting options for its IP address. The device associated advanced configuration can be set up using the Settings View in the WorkBench software. This servo drive has an open fault relay and a switched off output stage when a fault is encountered. The product displays the fault code on the LED display for easy troubleshooting. The device related fault codes are prefixed by the letter F that is followed by a three-digit code. This unit portrays a communications fault when a wrong cable is used or the cables are connected to wrong ports on the drive.
