Product Description

The AKD-P02407-NBPN-0000 servo drive delivered by Kollmorgen depicts no scope for extension and has a standard housing. This product should not use cables with pigtails as the cables that enter its control cabinet. This device may need external EMC filtering to be done using shielded cables with a star point shield connection such as a shielding bus bar. The unit has a rated RMS output current rating of 24 Arms with +/-3% tolerance. It is recommended to use Weidmuller KLBU shield clamps for the bus bar. This drive permits the direct connection of the cable shielding with shield connection clamps and grounding plates. The product is connected to the relevant motor through the X2 connector with a shielded connection. This device uses an external electrically isolated 24 VDC power supply as its auxiliary supply. The unit should never be connected to residential supply networks. It is necessary for each drive connected to the same DC bus link voltage to have its own power connection to the mains voltage. The drives that operate generatively are to be kept near drives that generate energy. The product has to be disconnected from the line voltage and its connectors can be worked on only when the system is disconnected. This device must have a cable length of at least 500 mm from the KCM module. The unit has a X4 RS 422 interface to exchange data controlled by a terminal software. Its hardware enable signal at the X8 connector does not bring the servo drive to a controlled stop but turns off its power stage immediately. The drive related brake function has to be enabled through a parameter. This product supports most standard feedback devices that are connected to the X10 connector.
