Product Description
Kollmorgen servo drives in the AKD series have revolutionized how industrial servo motors are controlled. AKD drives are specially designed to be used with synchronous servo motors that use closed-loop control of speed, torque, and or position. Kollmorgen drives are meant to be mounted and operated inside a drive to avoid unintended access and prevent injury to personnel. For the power supply, Kollmorgen AKD drives can be operated with a single phase or a three phase power source supplying between 120 Volts AC and 480 Volts AC. Note that the power supply should not have over 200 kilo Amperes symmetrical current.
The AKD-P02407-NBEC-0000 is a servo drive designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. It supports an input voltage of between 240 Volts AC and 480 Volts AC supplied by a three phase power source. Being a standard drive, the AKD-P02407-NBEC-0000 is not designed to be used in industrial environments with electrically conductive acids, corrosive solutions, ships, explosive areas, or offshore applications. With a storage temperature rating of between -25 degrees Celsius and +55 degrees Celsius, the drive can be stored within the factory premises without requiring any special storage conditions.
The Kollmorgen AKD-P02407-NBEC-0000 saves on maintenance costs because it does not require maintenance. Note that to avoid voiding the warranty, the drive should only be opened and cleaned by Kollmorgen. The drive is easy to clean on the outside because it only requires a clean dry brush eliminating the need for expensive cleaning products and or procedures. By being listed by Underwriters Laboratories and conforming to the United States standards and Canadian National standards, the AKD-P02407-NBEC-0000 adheres to global standards preparing it for international usage. The AKD-P02407-NBEC-0000 has integrated EMC filters.
