The AKD-P02407-NBCC-E000 servo drive offered by Kollmorgen has to be commissioned properly before it is put to use. This product setup, operation and maintenance must be done only by electrically qualified personnel. The device may get damaged if the permissible current or voltage values are exceeded. This unit incorporates various electrostatically sensitive components. Its heatsink must be cooled down to below 40 °C before it is touched after operation. The drive related hardware configuration must not be changed by the user. This product can be supplied only by three-phase industrial supply networks. This device should not have spikes for more than 50 µs. The unit can be connected to voltage types of supply networks other than those indicated by the manufacturer with the help of an additional isolating transformer. Its inbuilt EMC filter does not work when it is supplied by a DC power supply. This drive is not to be used for applications other than those specified by the manufacturer as this can cause equipment damage or personnel injuries. It comes with a warning note indicating that the user should wait for at least seven minutes before servicing after the power is disconnected. The servo drive portrays reduced output when its ambient operating temperature and installation altitude are exceeded. This product should be free of shock when it is being transported. The device is meant to be decommissioned after the main switch of its control cabinet is switched off and securing the system against restarting. The unit needs no periodic maintenance if it is used properly. It must not be opened by the user for cleaning or any other purpose as this nullifies the warranty.
