Product Description
The Kollmorgen AKD series of servo drives houses Ethernet-based drives that are easy to interface with other devices on the factory floor. Designed around flexibility and ease of use, these drives provide plug-and-play commissioning allowing for a seamless and instant access to everything in a machine. AKD series drives deliver a high performance, industry-leading power levels, and communication options. For easy programming and set-up, these drives support the Kollmorgen WorkBench graphical user interface. Whether the standard processing power is not enough, Kollmorgen AKD drives support options cards to boost processing power and the number of inputs and outputs to be connected.
The AKD-P02407-NBAN-0000 is a Kollmorgen servo drive in the AKD series. The drive is designed to be operated with an input voltage of 480 Volts AC. Where the voltage available is 240 Volts AC, the AKD-P02407-NBAN-0000 has the VBUS.HALFVOLT parameter to set the input voltage at half the standard operating voltage. Apart from AC voltage, this servo drive can be powered by an DC voltage via the direct DC input terminals. This enables the AKD-P02407-NBAN-0000 to adapt to a wide range of industrial environments. Note that the nominal level of direct current voltage applied on the drive must be compatible with the drive’s voltage fault levels.
The Kollmorgen AKD-P02407-NBAN-0000 fault levels are rated at 380 Volts DC for the undervoltage level and 840 Volts DC for the over voltage level. To minimize the set-up time when connecting a motor, the drive automatically detects any feedback devices together with motor parameters. The AKD-P02407-NBAN-0000 automatically fills-in the values for current, commutation and velocity loop gains. The AKD-P02407-NBAN-0000 has a current rating of 24 ARMS and supports analog connectivity options.
