The AKD-P01207-NCEC-0091 Ethernet-based servo drive delivered by Kollmorgen has a very fast digital current loop. This product is well-known for its precise motion and high throughput. The device depicts the functionality of a slave drive when its connection is established with an EtherCAT network. This unit is compatible with feedback devices like SFDs, HIPERFACE, resolvers, analog sine/cos encoders and more. Its IP address can be reset by setting the rotary switches to 0 and holding down the B1 push-button for five seconds if it hinders the drive communication. The drive has no scope for an I/O option card extension. This product allows only one user to connect to it at a time. The device has a unique MAC address that is mentioned on a label stuck on the side of the drive. This unit comes fitted with the mating connectors required to separate its operation. Its protective earth wiring must be established with green colored wires featuring one or more yellow stripes. The product has a high electrical voltage of up to 900 V during operation. This device is likely to get damaged because of wrong wiring or mains voltage. The servo drive status should be monitored using a PLC for acknowledging critical situations. This device related fusing for the 24 V supply and the AC supply input must be implemented by the user. The unit tends to get destroyed if excessively high external fusing is used.
