Product Description

The AKD-P01207-NACN-0060 Ethernet servo drive by Kollmorgen is customized as per USA standards. This product has derated output when there is a deviation from the manufacturer indicated ambient operating conditions. The device features a height of 256 mm without connectors. This unit uses an inbuilt fan for ventilation. It incorporates optically isolated I/Os that are equipped with screw terminal connectors. This drive has a voltage rating that ranges from 3.5 VDC to 30 VDC and a current rating of 2 mA to 15 mA for its digital inputs when they are in the ON state. The product features an AC rated supply input frequency ranging from 50 Hz to 400 Hz with +/-5% tolerance. This device features a rated output current of 12 Arms with a tolerance of +/-3%. The unit can be connected with the encoder emulation output of another drive at its X9 incremental encoder input connector. It is connectable to a stepper-motor controller by adjusting the number of pulses in WorkBench for adapting the drive to the controller. This drive deploys electronic gearing to receive a digital pulse position command. The product slows down the associated servo system by the dissipation of the mechanical energy generated by the back emf of the connected motor through an advanced dynamic braking action. The device installation must be done in a site free of corrosive or conductive materials in the surroundings. This unit needs a proper grounding action to be established with the mounting plate that comes along with the drive. It has to be assembled, installed and operated after studying and understanding its associated documentation. The product is installed in the control cabinet using a 3 mm T-handle Allen key and M4 hexagon socket screws.
