Product Description

The AKD-P01206-NBS3-0000 AC servo drive is an efficient and versatile drive manufactured by Kollmorgen and customized to USA Standard. The unit is designed to achieve the most precise motion and the best output. The drive is fully equipped to deliver the best performance with several feedback devices, and extra options. The device features a very fast digital current loop along with high bandwidth torque- and velocity- loops. The weight of the device is 2 kg and its height is 225 mm with connectors. The AKD servo drive incorporates SERCOS III connectivity option and can be connected to one-phase or three-phase industrial supply networks. The unit is designed to be used only for industrial applications and not residential applications. The drive’s continuous output power is 4000 Watts. The unit must be operated in a closed control cabinet appropriate for ambient conditions. For wiring purposes, only copper conductors must be used. The servo drive has an internal regen resistor. However, if required, it is possible to connect an external resistor. The drive has a peak regen power of 11.7 kW with the internal regen resistor for 0.5 seconds. The device incorporates STO, a functional safe function, which can secure the drive on standstill using its internal electronics. Even when there is power supply, the STO safeguards the drive shaft against unintentional restart. When a suspended load isn’t properly blocked, it could lead to serious injury. When STO is active, it isn’t possible for the drive to hold a vertical load. A safe mechanical blocking like a motor-holding brake must be added in this case. The drive has a stop function defined by IEC 60204 that shuts down the unit in normal operation.
