The AKD-P00607-NBPN-0000 Ethernet servo drive provided by Kollmorgen has a PROFINET RT bus interface for connectivity. This product may encounter electrical arcing resulting in damage to contacts if its electrical connections are disconnected in the live state. The device must not be modified by the user and has to be operated in the configuration given by the manufacturer. This unit requires minimum maintenance with proper operation. Its connected motor must feature reinforced insulation for its thermal sensors, feedback systems and holding brakes as per IEC 61800-5-1 specifications. The product can be operated only as an integral component of electrical plants or machines. This device should not have over 200 kA symmetrical rated current at 240 V, 400 V or 480 V. The unit comes with the EMC filter measures already implemented. It has to be evaluated for parameters like fuse protection, system dielectric requirements and over-voltage before using it for group installations. This drive warranty becomes void if it is opened by the user and the DC power has improper polarity. The product usage is not allowed in a machine that is not in compliance with appropriate national directives and standards. This device has a warning note on its housing asking the user to wait for five minutes after removing the power supply and before servicing it. The unit must be transported by qualified personnel without subjecting it to shock. It should be checked for visible damage before use if the packaging is damaged. This product is intended to be decommissioned only after switching off the main switch of the control cabinet and ensuring that the system does not restart. The drive exterior must not be cleaned by immersing it in liquids.
