The AKD-P00607-NAAN-0000 servo drive delivered by Kollmorgen must be properly grounded before it is operated. This product should have unimpeded ventilation and the operation must take place in the ambient temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C. The device comes with a mounting plate for the grounding action. This unit must be placed adjacent to the power supply inside the control cabinet. Its mounting is done using a 3 mm T-handle Allen key and M4 hexagon socket screws. The drive has a maximum output impedance of 110 Ohms for the analog outputs. The product casing can be cleaned only after the device has been decommissioned. This device disassembly can be done only after making sure that the temperature of its heat sink is below 40 °C. The unit can be operated for only half an hour of cleaning its outer surface. Its interiors can be cleaned only by the manufacturer. The drive has a continuous regen power of 1.5 kW for its external resistor. It comes equipped with EMC filters to meet noise immunity requirements. This product meets Category C2 requirements if the motor cable used for connection is less than 10 meters in length. The device is compliant with the EC 2006/42/EC machinery directives and EC 2014/35/EC low voltage directives. This unit features a relative humidity of 5% to 85% when it is operated. It should have no condensation on the surface during operation, transport as well as storage. The drive installation must be done only by personnel who have the skill to operate such drives. It should be mounted inside the closed control cabinet with sufficient spacing above and below it for ventilation.
