Product Description
The Kollmorgen AKD-P00606-NCEI-0000 AC servo drive uses a Kollmorgen WorkBench GUI for easy installation and programming. The device comes with Ethernet/IP connectivity option and is customized to meet the requirements of the US standards. The device features fast data acquisition. The unit has a SIL- certified STO function and is enabled with over-voltage, current, and temperature detection. The drive is robust, versatile, and has a compact design that sports industry-leading power density.
The drive’s continuous output power is 2000 Watts and its current rating is 6 Arms. The switching frequency of the output stage of the device is 10 kHz. The bandwidth of the current controller is 2.5 to 4 kHz, the bandwidth of the velocity controller is 0 to 1000 Hz, and the bandwidth of the position controller is 1 to 250 Hz. The unit’s PE block supports a tightening torque of up to 1.7 Nm. The drive doesn’t come with an internal regen resistor and if needed, an external resistor can be connected. The drive has a resistance of 33 Ohm for the external regen resistor. The device has a continuous regen power of 1.5 kW for its external resistor.
The servo drive has electrostatically sensitive components. If not handled properly, they can be damaged. Before touching the drive, the person must discharge himself/herself electrostatically. When touching the servo drive, contact should be avoided with highly insulating materials, including plastic films and artificial fabrics. The drive must be placed on a conductive surface. Capacitors in the drive can have dangerous voltages for up to seven minutes after turning off the supply power. For increased safety, the voltage in the DC bus link should be measured and one has to wait until the voltage falls below 50 V. The main switch must be blocked and one should wait at least seven minutes after disconnecting the power supply.
