Product Description

The AKD-P00606-NBEC-0051 is a reliable Ethernet servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen. It is designed exclusively for industrial applications. The drive has a unique MAC address and a unique IP address. The drive supports three ways of setting the IP address via the WorkBench software. The unit comes with plug-and-play support for the connection of digital feedback devices. The drive is easy to use with advanced auto-tuning functionality. The AKD servo drive helps in system optimization with its EtherCAT connectivity option. The drive can deliver real-time performance feedback. The unit depicts a related DC bus link voltage ranging between 170 V and 340 V. The unit uses an external time delay fuse with maximum 15 A rating for its power supply. Its capacitors have an absorption energy of 60 W with +/-20% tolerance at 120 V supply voltage. The continuous output power of the drive is 2000 Watts, and its peak output current is 18 A. The AKD servo drive comes with a built-in advanced dynamic braking mode that is fully operated in hardware. The DC bus capacitance of the drive is 940 microfarads. The basic tools required to install the device are M4 hexagon socket-cap screws, a 3 mm T-handle Allen key, a No.2 Phillips head screwdriver, and a small-slotted screwdriver. The unit should be operated only in a closed cabinet that is appropriate for ambient conditions. Only copper conductors must be used for wiring purposes. One-phase or three-phase power supply networks can be used to connect the servo drive. The device features a functional safe function STO that secures the drive in standstill mode using its internal electronics. Even when power is supplied, the STO protects the drive shaft against unintentional restart.
