Product Description

The AKD-P00606-NBCN-0000 is a robust, versatile, and efficient servo drive that is designed to render fast operation for industrial requirements. The unit features high versatility and supports multiple feedback devices. The drive can be set up using Kollmorgen’s WorkBench software. The unit contains electrostatically sensitive components. Devices that produce magnetic fields must not be mounted next to the drive. The device also causes high-frequency interference when it is operated in non-industrial environments. The servo drive features a built-in advanced dynamic braking mode fully operated in hardware. The DC bus capacitance of the drive is 940 microfarads. The basic tools needed to install the unit are M4 hexagon socket-cap screws, a 3 mm T-handle Allen key, a No.2 Phillips head screwdriver, and a small slotted screwdriver. The device should be operated in a closed cabinet that is appropriate for ambient conditions. Only copper conductors should be used for wiring purposes. One-phase or three-phase power supply networks can be used to connect the drive. The device comes with a functional safe function STO that secures the drive on standstill using its internal electronics. Even when power is supplied, the STO safeguards the drive shaft against unintentional restart. When a suspended load isn’t properly blocked, it could lead to serious injury. When STO is active, the servo drive cannot hold a vertical load. A safe mechanical blocking such as a motor-holding brake must be added in this case. There is a stop function defined by IEC 60204 specifications that shuts down the unit in normal operation. Before putting the drive to active use, it must be checked for signs of defect or damage.
