Product Description
The introduction of Kollmorgen AKD drives on the industrial floor brought with it a series of compact but powerful drives that can handle even the toughest industrial applications. Paired with Kollmorgen’s best-in-class servo motors, AKD drives are designed to provide an industry-leading performance, power levels, and communication options. With a continuous power of between 1,100 Watts and 32,000 Watts, Kollmorgen AKD drives are well suited to handle a wide range of applications on the industrial floor. AKD drives can be embedded with the innovative Kollmorgen Automation Suite enabling them to be used with high-performance multi-axis and single-axis systems.
The AKD-P00606-NBCC-E000 is a servo drive designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen and it belongs to the AKD-P subseries. Drives in this subseries are precisely designed as position indexers. The AKD-P00606-NBCC-E000 has a continuous output power of 2000 Watts, an output current rating of 6 ARMS plus or minus 3 percent, and a peak output current rating of 18 Amperes plus or minus 3 percent. With an E000 customization code, the AKD-P00606-NBCC-E000 is specially designed to be deployed within the European Union and is supplied with an English manual to ease installation. For connectivity, the drive is fitted with both the EtherCAT (X6 and X5) and CANopen (X13 and X12) fieldbus connectors. Because CANopen and EtherCAT cannot be used simultaneously, the drive has a software parameter to select which between the two fieldbus connectors should be used at each instant.
The Kollmorgen AKD-P00606-NBCC-E000 supports programming and set-up using the Kollmorgen WorkBench software. To enhance safety on the industrial floor, the drive has a motor overload protection and temperature monitoring for both the drive and the connected motor. The AKD-P00606-NBCC-E000 operates optimally in an environment with a surrounding non-condensing relative humidity of between 5 and 85 percent.
