Product Description
The AKD series of digital drives houses a wide range of motion control drives that can precisely be used with any application on the industrial floor. The AKD-P subseries in the wider AKD series houses position indexer drives that are able to handle more than one motion, modify drive process variables to base drive, add time delays, and make decisions. To support a wide range of industrial applications, Kollmorgen position indexer drives are available with either analog, EtherCAT, CANopen, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET RT, and Sercos III connectivity options. Kollmorgen AKD drives can be used to control linear motors, synchronous servo motors and asynchronous motors.
The AKD-P00606-NAEC-0000 is a position indexer drive designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. It has a current rating of 6 ARMS and standard USA customizations. With a voltage rating of between 120 Volts AC and 240 Volts AC, the drive can fit into the existing industry supply network without requiring major modifications to the network. The AKD-P00606-NAEC-0000 features an EtherCAT connectivity option. An EtherCAT connectivity option allows the drive to handle high-speed applications and real-time communication. The real-time communication nature enabled by an EtherCAT network allows multi-axis motion control through synchronization of individual devices.
The Kollmorgen AKD-P00606-NAEC-0000 operates optimally in an environment with a relative humidity of between a minimum of 5 percent and a maximum of 85 percent without condensation. The drive’s operating temperature is rated at between a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 0.0 degrees Celsius. To enable the drive to maintain the required temperature levels inside the drive, it features an in-built fan that draws cool air from the surrounding and forces hot air out from inside the drive.
