The AKD-P00306-NAEC-E000 Ethernet servo drive is one of the most efficient digital servo drives from the house of Kollmorgen. It is robust, versatile, and one of the fastest drives that helps achieve the most precise motion and the best throughput. The base servo drive features EtherCAT connectivity option, various bus choices, feedback devices, and additional options. The height of the drive with connectors is 200 mm and without connectors is 168 mm. The base servo drive is designed to be used for only industrial applications. The continuous output power of the drive is 1100 Watts. The drive should be operated in a closed control cabinet that is appropriate for ambient conditions. Only copper conductors should be used for wiring. 1 or 3 phase industrial supply networks can be supplied for the drives (not over 200 kA symmetrical rated current at 120 V and 240 V). The drive doesn’t have an internal regen resistor. However, based on the requirements of the application, it is possible to connect an external resistor. The protective earth block of the servo drive supports a tightening torque of up to 1.7 Nm. The use of the drive is prohibited in certain environments, including potentially explosive areas and environments exposed to corrosive or electrically conductive acids, oils, vapors, and alkaline solutions. The device doesn’t need any maintenance. Opening the device under any circumstances voids the warranty. Only the manufacturer is allowed to clean the inside of the device. Avoid spraying or immersing the device. Caution should be excised that no liquid enters the device. The drive has an Emergency Stop function and an Emergency Off function; the former is used to quickly shut down the machine in case of a dangerous situation and the latter is used to turn off the electrical power supply.
