Product Description

The AKD-P00306-NAEC-0051 Kollmorgen Ethernet servo drive finds its place among the multiple digital servo drives in the AKD product group. This servo drive is designed to be operated for only industrial applications. The product does not have an inbuilt fan to support ventilation during the operation phase. This device depicts a continuous current derating when it is utilized at a temperature between 40 °C and 55 °C. The unit portrays open and closed time intervals of 10 ms for its relay outputs. Its protective earth block supports a tightening torque of up to 1.7 Nm. This drive needs fingersafe fuse holders designed as per IEC 60529 specifications to be fitted for standard fuse blocks. The product triggers a shorting of the motor terminals in phase with the back EMF when its inbuilt dynamic braking mode is activated. This device has no internal regen resistor and permits the connection of an external resistor according to the application related requirements. The unit can be coupled with several other drives by means of a DC bus link connection. It is associated with special timings for switching the output stage on and off when its holding brake function is activated. This product may restart automatically when the power is turned on or there is a dip in the supply voltage based on the parameter setting. The drive must never be fitted with painted or non-conductive mounting plates. This device is highlighted by a standard width for its housing. The unit assembly has to be done next to the power supply inside the control cabinet. It is important to ensure that there is no condensation water on the drive at any time when a cooling system is installed. This servo drive may have dangerous voltages in its capacitors for a brief period after the power supply has been disconnected.
