Product Description:

The AKD-M02407-MCEC-0000 digital Kollmorgen servo drive portrays Ethernet support. This product has an EtherCAT connectivity option. The device includes a PLC open and pipes network and all five IEC 61131 languages. This unit works like a PDMM / EtherCAT master drive in an EtherCAT network. It comprises a 0.8 GHz motion control card as the extension option. The drive has an internal regen resistor and also allows the connection of an external regen resistor. This product incorporates four buffers that are empty by default and can support high as well as low commands. The device related command buffers can be edited only by opting for Command Buffer as the digital input mode. This unit can execute a delay command to delay the buffer operation. Its analog input provides the velocity of the current command to its control loop. The product supports changing of the analog input setting. This device has one analog output that is configured through the X8 connector. The unit is controlled via an A/B type signal using its X9 connector. Its DRV.CMDSOURCE parameter should be set to the 2-Electronic Gearing value while the DRV.OPMODE parameter must be set to 2-Position Mode for the drive to incorporate electronic gearing. This servo drive uses programmable limit switches for turning its digital outputs on or off based on its position. The product features two hardware enable methods. This device shorts the motor terminals in phase with the back EMF when its advanced dynamic braking mode is activated. The unit executes the Emergency Off function to disconnect the electrical power supply of the machine. It generates a F602 Safe Torque Off fault if the STO input has no 24 V supply and an attempt is made to enable the drive.
