The AKD-M00606-M1EC-0000 AC servo drive is a reliable drive that supports plug-and-play setup and is designed for use in industries. The drive is set up using Kollmorgen’s WorkBench software. Its interface is an intuitive graphical user interface. The device should not be placed or stored in a site that contains highly insulating materials, because if exposed to insulating materials, its components might get damaged. When operated in non-industrial areas, the drive causes high-frequency interference. The current rating of the servo drive is 6 Arms and its voltage rating is 120/240 VAC. One-phase and three-phase systems can be used to connect the drive. There is no internal regen resistor in the unit. However, if required, it can be connected to an external resistor with a resistance of 33 Ohms. The maximum continuous regen power of the drive’s external resistor is 1.5 kW. Its peak regen power of the external resistor is 5.4 kW for one second. There are some basic tools that are required to install the device, including an M4 hexagon socket-cap screws, a No.2 Phillips head screwdriver, a 3 mm T-handle Allen key, and a small-slotted screwdriver. The use of the servo drive is prohibited in a few environments that include potentially explosive areas and sites exposed to corrosive or electrically conductive acids, vapors, oils, and alkaline solutions. The device must be cleaned and maintained only by the manufacturer. Opening the device voids the warranty under any circumstances. Care must be taken to ensure that no liquid enters the unit. The servo drive has an Emergency Stop function to shut down the machine quickly in a dangerous situation and an Emergency Off function to switch off the electrical power supply.
