The AKD-B02407-NBSQ-0000 Ethernet-based Kollmorgen servo drive comes fitted with the connectors to support its operation. This product also includes a flat grounding plate. The device uses shield connection clamps that must be fitted into the grounding plate for optimum contact between the grounding plate and the shield. This unit needs an isolating transformer when it is used with 400 V to 480 V networks for a maximum voltage of 240 V +/-10%. Its external 24 VDC power supply is electrically isolated through an isolating transformer. The drive must incorporate a parallel connection of the DC bus link for distribution of the regen power among the drives. This product along with other drives can be connected to the same DC bus link if they have a mains supply from the same mains. The device has a high DC voltage of up to 900 V. This unit can cause personnel injury as a result of electrical arcing or electrical shock because of the high DC voltage. Its power output forms an oscillating circuit along with the motor winding and supply cable. The drive needs an additional mechanical brake to be operated for functional safety with a hanging load. This product supports almost all types of common feedback devices. The device associated feedback functions are assigned their respective parameters in the WorkBench software. The unit should never be installed in horizontal orientation. It can be connected with a resolver only with a cable of a maximum length of 100 meters. This servo drive features a very fast digital current loop. The product is connected to a SynqNet network using the X5 as well as X6 RJ-45 connectors.
