The AKD-B02406-NASQ-BETA Kollmorgen Ethernet servo drive is a digital drive. This product must be earthed safely to the protective earth bus bar in the switch cabinet. The device poses a risk of electric shock due to improper or lack of grounding. This unit features lethal danger in its live parts during its operation phase. It must be worked on in compliance with the work related safety regulations and when the mains supply is switched off and the machine is secured against restart. The product may have uncovered live parts when it is in use based on its level of enclosure protection.
This device must have a DC bus link voltage of less than 50 V before handling its components. The unit does not have any integrated EMC filters. It can cause high frequency interference when it functions in residential areas. This drive comes with a note saying that the user must wait for five minutes before servicing it after its power has been removed. The product storage as well as transportation should be done in accordance with IEC 61800-2 specifications.
