Product Description
Kollmorgen servo drives have revolutionized the motion control space with closed-loop controlled synchronous servo motors leaping the highest benefits. Kollmorgen drives in the AKD series support different connectivity options enabling them to support a wide range of applications. Those in the AKD-B subseries are designed as base drives controlled by analog torques and velocity with those in the AKD-P subseries meant to be position indexer drives capable of controlling multiple motions. Apart from synchronous servo motors, AKD drives can be used with induction machines and linear motors. To enable the interfaced motor, operate at its optimum, Kollmorgen AKD drives offer motor overload protection and temperature monitoring for both the motor and the drive.
The AKD-B00606-NBAN-0000 is a Kollmorgen AKD drive in the AKD-B subseries. It has an operating voltage rating of between 120 Volts AC and 240 Volts AC supplied form either a single phase or a three-phase power source. With such a common voltage range, the drive can be deployed in most industrial environments without major changes to the industrial power supply network. Where more external devices need to be connected to the drive, AKD drives support option cards. These cards increase, among other things, the drives’ digital inputs and outputs or upgrades the drive to become a master drive for multi-axis, synchronized drive systems.
With the aid of light emitting diodes, monitoring and troubleshooting the AKD-B00606-NBAN-0000 becomes easy. Apart from LEDs, the drive has a display that shows faults such as when a wrong interface has been selected, the drive is mechanically blocked, there’s insufficient space on the hard disk, velocity or current limits have been reached, among others. The AKD-B00606-NBAN-0000 has an ingress protection rating of IP 20.
