Product Description
Kollmorgen AKD drives have revolutionized how synchronous servo motors are controlled on the factory floor. AKD drives are specially designed to be used with motors that support closed-loop control of position, speed, and/or torque. Closed-loop control enables the motor’s speed to be controlled with a greater accuracy, the motor to have a stabilized operation, and improve the dynamic response. Kollmorgen drives in the AKD series can be operated with either a single phase or a three phase power source supplying between 120 Volts AC and 480 Volts AC. This eliminates the need to make changes to the existing industrial power supply network. Where the voltage supplied by the power source is not within the 120 to 480 Volts AC range, only an isolating transformer is required between the power source and the AKD drive.
The AKD-B00306-NAAN-0000 is a servo drive designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. It is part of the AKD servo drive family and has a current rating of 3 ARMS. By supporting analog connections, the drive can be interfaced with a host of other devices on the industrial floor. The AKD-B00306-NAAN-0000 belongs to the AKD-B subseries of the AKD series. Drives in this subseries are base drives for use with induction machines, synchronous servo motors, and linear motors.
The Kollmorgen AKD-B00306-NAAN-0000 is capable of attaining optimal performance when mounted and operated in an environment with a temperature of between 0 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius, a non-condensing relative humidity of between 5 percent and 85 percent, and at an altitude not exceeding 1000 meters. The AKD-B00306-NAAN-0000 is meant to be mounted inside a closed control cabinet to minimize unauthorized access. As such, enough forced air should be supplied inside the cabinet to prevent the drive from overheating.
