Product Description
Kollmorgen manufactures motion control machinery, automation subsystems, and supporting software. The company originally started as a precision-engineering components manufacturer and has expanded its range of products since then. The company’s professionals understand modern industrial challenges very well and utilize their experience to provide custom solutions to industries.
The AKD-P00306-NBCC-0000 is a digital drive produced by the company and belongs to the AKD series. The drive is an ideal subsystem for executing servomechanism because it can simultaneously control motion across multiple axes. It allows the user to add custom time-delays in motion and also enables the processing of Input/Output. The drive can be used flexibly with the base drive because its process variables can be modified in accordance with the requirements of the base drive. The AKD-P00306-NBCC-0000 comes with dynamic braking. The dynamic braking mechanism dissipates the system’s kinetic energy and is really useful for stopping the motor instantly. The dynamic brake cuts off the force-generating circuit and prevents the motor from receiving more torque.
The AKD-P00306-NBCC-0000 supports connectivity with PROFINET RT, Ethernet, and Sercos III. The digital drive operates on DC voltage (120 V to 480 V). The system comes with a Resolver, Comcoder, and incremental encoder support on board. The digital drive also has onboard support for EnDAT 2.1, BiSS and Hiperface protocols. Furthermore, encoder emulation and support for second feedback is also provided on-board. The AKD-P00306-NBCC-0000 can be easily used with various kinds of servo motors, synchronous motors, and induction machinery. The drive also comes with a safe torque off (STO) provision. This is in addition to the emergency stop off feature. Safe torque off is critical for equipment safety during operation.
