Product Description
The programmable drive family devices AKD PDMM® are usually used as multi-axis master controllers. AKD PDMM® and PCMM-based machines can have up to 64 axes. The Kollmorgen Automation Suite™ is an important asset, which enables engineers to program I/O resources and HMI interfaces in order to achieve desired machine functions.
The AKD PDMM® Programmable Drive family is able to control multiple axes machines, reducing your automation systems’ overall footprint. Another important software tool is the Kollmorgen Visualization Builder™, normally used to program AKI human-machine interface panels. These devices exhibit plug-and-play compatibility with servo motors and support real-time performance feedback from different sensors. The full-frequency autotuning feature permits precise motion control. Panel space and wiring costs are reduced due to the drive master capability of controlling multiple axes. The use of the Kollmorgen Automation Suite™ development environment tends to reduce risk of system failure, enhance performance and decrease design time. A 32 kB non-volatile memory stores the machine data, suppressing errors that could be caused by restarting the unit or power failure. The existence of a SD Card slot dispenses the use of a PC to backup data.
The AKD-M01207-MCEC-0000 continuous current rating is equal to 12 Amps, its peak current is equal to 30 Amps, and its voltage rating is equal to 240 / 480 Vac (three-phase). The version of this drive is motion control. A motion card with a 0.8 GHz CPU is part of this device (extension option). The connectivity interface of this drive is EtherCAT and its customization code “0000” indicates the Standard USA. This drive height is equal to 256 mm, its width is equal to 100 mm, and its depth is equal to 185 mm.
