The AKD PDMM (programmable drive, multi-axis master) drive brings together the high-performance multi-axis motion controller, AKD servo drive, and EtherCAT in a compact package. The Kollmorgen AKD-M00307-MCEC-0000 is a programmable drive, multi-axis master with a voltage rating of between 240 Volts AC and 480 Volts AC supplied from a three-phase power source. With a motion card that has a processor speed of 0.8 Giga Hertz, the drive can handle a wide range of high-performance applications. By being capable of controlling multiple axes, the AKD-M00307-MCEC-0000 is perfectly designed to be interfaced with applications requiring extremely accurate synchronization of more than one axis greatly reducing the time it takes to bring a complex system online.
This drive is programmed via the Kollmorgen Automation Suite. The drive has a continuous current of 3 Amps and a peak current of 9 Amps. With a height of 10.08 inches, a width of 3.94 inches, and a length of 7.28 inches, the Kollmorgen AKD PDMM drive can fit on small spaces on the industrial floor. To accommodate a wide range of industrial applications, the drive features on-board Inputs and Outputs that are made of up to 4 digital outputs, 13 digital inputs, a single analog input and a single analog output.
