Product Description
Kollmorgen's AKT-DT-008-000 is a digital output module with eight output channels or terminals. These channels help in the connection of binary control signals between the actuators and the automation unit with electrical isolation at the process level. The terminals are also capable of handling load currents that feature outputs. The binary control signals have a voltage rating of 24VDC (-15% or +20%). The total output current through the channels is 3A. The product features pluggable wiring for any type of bus terminal. It does not feature any configuration or address settings. The output module comes with a one-year warranty period.
This product has a typical current consumption of 60mA from the contacts. The output contacts feature reverse polarity protection, short circuit and overload. The unit encompasses a maximum output short-circuit-proof current of 0.5A per channel. It weighs close to 70 grams. The device supports lamp, inductive and Ohmic type loads. The module’s electrostatic discharge conforms to EN 61000-6-4 (EN 50081) specifications. The signal state of each channel is indicated with the help of light-emitting diodes. The device operates in temperatures between0°C and 55°C. It is a good choice for applications that require a lot of I/Os and specialized functionality like thermocouple management via I/O.
The output module can withstand maximum relative humidity of 95% without condensation. The standard bus has a typical current consumption of 18mA. The unit saves space in control cabinets with single-ended inputs. The device can be mounted on a DIN rail in any position. It supports both horizontal and vertical installation. The product has a vibration resistance conforming to EN 60068-2-6 specifications and shock resistance in adherence to EN 60068-2-7/29 specifications. The module must be stored ina temperature range of -25°C and 85°C. The AKT-DT-008-000 module can be shipped worldwide to the address of your preference.
