Product Description
The AKT-AT-820-000 is a Kollmorgen I/O terminal. The eight-channel analog output terminal has a capacity to generate signals in a range of 0 to 20 mA. The AKT-AT-820-000 is powered through a process level with a resolution of up to 12 bits, while it is electrically isolated. The output stage is powered by a 24 Volts supply. The terminals combine 8 channels in a single housing, making the unit particularly suitable for space-saving installations in control cabinets. The AKT-AT-820-000 uses a single conductor connection technology. This enables the connection of multi-channel actuator technology, while providing the unit minimum space requirements. The bus terminal features common ground potential, while the unit features reference ground of the 0 volts power contact. The rated load is <150 Ω (Short-Circuit-Proof), while the supply of the outputs is 24 Volts DC or 15 Volts DC with the power supply terminals through the power contacts.
The ambient operating temperature is rated as 0 degrees Celsius to 55 degrees Celsius, while the ambient storage temperature is -25 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. The permissible relative humidity is rated as 95% none condensing. The AKT-AT-820-000 features the IP 20 enclosure providing adequate protection, while the installation position is variable.
The AKT-AT-820-000 comes with eight green run LEDs for monitoring the units operation status. The unit supports the use of KAS Integrated Development Environment during configuration. This is to make sure simplified configuration, as opposed to using manual processes for configuration. The AKT-AT-820-000 is a special case from its process image, and practically there are two four channel terminals that are located of the same signal type plugged next to each other. The units bus terminals occupy the addresses within the process image of the controller.
