The 16.F5.A1G-36DA is a frequency inverter built for the smooth speed regulation of industrial servo motors. The inverter supports all motors in closed-loop speed, torque, or position control. It can also operate open-loop induction motors. This inverter has small mounting footprint and is perfect for industrial environments with limited spacing. The power circuit of this product is resistant to short circuit damage and ground-faulting; it also has an extremely low switching loss during operation. As an additional benefit, the impressive control provided by this frequency inverter also protects the connected motor from overvoltage, overtemperature and over-current damage. Customers using this inverter are guaranteed an optimum motor performance for a very long time. The 16.F5.A1G-36DA frequency inverter uses a special digital operator, which provides a user-friendly interface for the control and monitoring of the inverter. The digital operator must be plugged into this product for it to function appropriately.
The 16.F5.A1G-36DA frequency inverter has some new functions that are not found in earlier inverter series from KEB Automation, some of these functions include static pole identification, external load weighing torque, and RUN or STOP function with serial communication. Some parameters are also new to the software version 1.72 recommended for this inverter, including the US version.37 Test Function, Ld.29 Acceleration Torque, P.LF.31 proportional Pre-torque gain, and P.LF.32 Integral pre-torque gain.
There is a standard braking transistor integrated into this frequency inverter. The housing of this product only offers protection against large foreign solids with external diameters larger than 12 millimeters; before operation, the inverter should be installed in an additional control cabinet that can prevent the penetration of dust and other small foreign contamination. The inverter should be mounted in a stationary location, offering a firm mounting point with low vibration.
