14.F5.M1E-3AG0 is a KEB F5 series industrial frequency inverter. It is designed for applications that require precise and accurate control of 3-phase AC motors. This particular inverter works with either DC or AC input. Its main purpose is to control connected motors by varying the output frequency and amplitude. Since the input is DC and the AC input has a fixed amplitude and frequency, the frequency inverter firsts obtains DC by rectifying AC input, and converts DC to AC output with desired parameters. The nominal input current for 305 to 440 Volts input is 18.1 Amps. The nominal input current for 460 to 500 Volts input is 15.4 Amps. The nominal output current at 440 Volts is 16.5 Amps. The nominal output current at 480 Volts is 14 Amps.
Power output of the 14.F5.M1E-3AG0 inverter is 11 kVA. This inverter can be used to operate motors with maximum 7.5 kilowatts rating. KEB has designed the unit for vertical mounting. It has an internal cooling fan for increasing airflow. Proper spacing around the mounted unit is mandatory for unobstructed airflow, which is necessary for keeping ambient temperature within prescribed limits. The lower threshold for operating ambient temperature is -10 degrees, and the upper threshold is 45 degrees Celsius. For storage, the lower threshold for temperature is -25 degrees, and the upper threshold is 70 degrees Celsius. The specified upper threshold for operating relative humidity is 95%. The IP20 rated enclosure of the 14.F5.M1E-3AG0 does not protect against dust ingress or water ingress. For indoor use and for outdoor use, it is better to mounting the unit inside a cabinet that provides a high level of ingress protection.
