Product Description
14.F5.G1E-3A00 is a compact F5 series frequency inverter from KEB Automation. The inverter is especially designed by KEB for industrial applications. It supports various features, including programmable filter for analog/digital inputs, adjustable ramp balancing, hour meter, energy saving, HSP5 interface, slip compensation, DC braking, auto boost, and PID controller. The 14.F5.G1E-3A00 also supports several I/Os, including 2 programmable digital outputs, 2 programmable analog outputs, 8 programmable digital input and 2 programmable relay outputs. Power circuit of the 14.F5.G1E-3A00 inverters consists of three stages: a rectifier, a DC link and an inverter. The rectifier performs AC to DC conversion. The inverter performs DC to AC conversion. KEB has designed this frequency inverter for AC or DC input at 400 Volts. The inverter operates according to the PWM modulation for speed control of 3-phase motors.
The output speed range is 0 to 10,000 RPM. At output voltage of 440 Volts, the nominal current is 16.6 Amps. At output voltage of 480 Volts, the nominal current is 14.0 Amps. At input voltages between 305 and 440 Volts, the nominal current is 18.1 Amps. At input voltages between 460 and 500 Volts, the nominal current is 15.4 Amps. Rated output of the unit is 11 kVA and operators can connect it to 2/4 pole motors with maximum 7.5 kilowatts rating. Operation within specified temperature limits is critical for safe and reliable operation. KEB has installed a heat sink and a cooling fan on the inverter. The fan forces air over the hot inverter components, helping to keep the temperature within specified thresholds. Ingress protection rating of the inverter is IP20, which means it is not impervious to dust or liquid ingress.
