Product Description
12.F5.B3B-350A is a frequency inverter. It is designed and manufactured by KEB Automation. The inverter can be used with either AC or DC input. When connected to a 3-phase AC mains, it rectifies the input AC to DC, and then re-converts the DC to AC output at desired frequency and amplitude. When connected to DC input, the inverter converts the DC to AC output at desired frequency and amplitude. KEB has designed the inverter for control of step less industrial motors. Its input voltage rating is 400 Volts AC/DC. When used with AC mains, it requires three-phase input at 50/60 Hertz. Accessories included with unit include an integrated filter and a braking transistor. It is designed for 4 kilohertz switching frequency. The maximum short time current is 150% and the OC tripping current is 180%.
Nominal output power rating of the 12.F5.B3B-350A inverter is 6.6 kVA. Motors connected to the unit can have a maximum power rating of 4 kilowatts. Input and output current ratings of the inverter are 13 Amps and 9.5 Amps. The maximum and rated switching frequency is 4 kilohertz. Power loss of the inverter at nominal operating current is 150 Watts. The stall current at 4 kilohertz is 9.5 Amps. A heat sink is installed on the unit for improving heat dissipation. Its surface current must not exceed 90 degrees Celsius. The cross section of the motor line should be 2.5 mm2. The minimum value of the braking resistor is 82 Ohms and the typical value is 150 Ohms. KEB recommends 0.5 Nm torque for tightening terminals. Motor lines with lengths of up to 50 meters can be used with the inverter.
