The KEB F5 Combivert Axis Drive Series, model 09.F5.MDD-Y0P0 is a high-precision drive system that has been developed to meet the requirements of challenging industrial operations. Boasting a power of 4 kW, a voltage of 400 V, and a current of 9.5 A, this three-phase drive is remarkably reliable in its control.

It operates within a frequency range of 0-1600 Hz and has good flexibility and efficiency in motor control applications. The drive has a kVA rating of 6.6 kVA power handling capability and direct current braking for improved control during deceleration. To ensure user safety the 09.F5.MDD-Y0P0 offers an extensive list of protective features for current, voltage, and temperature. This is a short circuit-proof and a ground fault-proof circuit that operates safely even in complex conditions. The drive conforms to IEC standards for noise immunity; it also has hardware-based current regulation thus making it more reliable. The drive is designed to meet environmental standards and possesses the CE and cULus certifications proving it meets all the necessary world standards of safety and performance.

High-level control tasks like V/Hz control, SMM, and field-oriented control are implemented with internal positioning capability backed by a 32-bit register for improved position accuracy and flexibility in the applications. To ensure easy connectivity the drive comes with a variety of communication ports such as EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus, and CANopen which enable the drive to be compatible with different industrial networks and control systems. The 09.F5.MDD-Y0P0 is easy to install, with a small envelope, and is available in air-cooled (fan), liquid-cooled, and push-through configurations.
