The KEB F5 Combivert Axis Drive Series, model 09.F5.M3D-Y080 is a highly durable and flexible drive system that is used for industrial applications that require high accuracy and efficiency. This model has provisions for a maximum current of 80 A and conducts power loss of only 25 W to ensure that it runs efficiently.

It works within an EMC level of class A and deals with a conductor cross-section of 25mm² proving its ability to handle power throughput efficiently. Measuring just 80 x 398 x 200mm and having a weight of 6kg, this axis drive is designed to be easily incorporated into many industries whilst minimizing the space it occupies. It has a frequency range of 50/60 Hz; its leakage current is 35 mA and the maximum working temperature is 45°C. The drive operates over a broad voltage from 180 V to 528 V to suit various voltage services and networks globally. The device is designed for short-time current breakthroughs of 60 seconds with a factor of 1.8 times the nominal current, which allows it to operate stably in conditions of increased load. The series has a flexibly designed communication interface for CANopen, PROFIBUS, as well as EtherCAT, which enables smooth connection with other networks and control systems.

An advanced encoder interface is included, with the ability to handle various inputs including Resolver, SIN/COS, EnDat, and Hiperface, which ensures accurate feedback and control crucial in high-accuracy applications. Safety can be guaranteed through the availability of two-channel SIL3 rated Safe Torque Off (STO) inputs, to enable safe stopping of the motion without necessarily stopping the power supply. The drive is capable of operating with switching frequencies up to 16kHz, it is well suited for high-speed motor control applications, providing for precise motor control.
