The KEB 09.F5.CBD-YA53 provides industrial-grade frequency conversion in a rugged and heavy-duty package. As part of the F5 Combivert Axis Drive series, it delivers 5kW of output power at 400V, making it ideal for controlling 3-phase motors up to 15HP in demanding environments.

This compact drive withstands up to 150% overload for 60 seconds, enabling it to handle temporary power spikes and peaked loads without faulting. Continuous operation at the full 5kW rating enables control of conveyors, pumps, mixers, and other machinery. The converter outputs over 16A per phase to connected motors. Forced air cooling allows the 09.F5.CBD-YA53 to operate with no de-rating in ambient temperatures up to 50°C. Multiple variable-speed fans actively circulate air through the enclosed metal housing to prevent heat buildup. This enables reliable performance in hot equipment rooms or enclosures with insufficient airflow.

The converter accepts any 50 or 60Hz three-phase power supply between 380 and 480VAC, providing versatility for global applications. On the output side, it supplies variable frequency power from 0-1600Hz to give full speed control of AC induction motors. Adjustable parameters dial in performance. At 300 x 200 x 150mm in size and 5.5kg in weight, the 09.F5.CBD-YA53 mounts easily into cabinets and machinery.
